Arriving in Romania, sometime during 2016, Andrew and Tristantate quickly started working on their public image and to make themselves noticed in luxury clubs, frequented by women who could lend to work in a webcam studio.
Andrew and Tristan Tate did not talk about the nature of the business that brings them millions of euros and launched into the public space a story related to a hotel inherited in Thailand. However, the Tate brothers’ business came to light last spring, after a young woman from America, lureed to Romania by the “loverboy” method, alerted the authorities, through the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, and investigators searched.
Since then, the Tate brothers’ occupation has not been a secret, and they have started to speak openly about the success of their business, especially since they were displaying an out-of-ordinate luxury.

In this context, in the case in which DIICOT prosecutors accuse them of human trafficking and rape there is the transcript of a discussion in which Andrew Tate boasted in front of a young woman that he is the absolute master of the business:

The transcripts of some discussions that brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate had with some of the girls they allegedly sexually exploited at the webcam studio shows how they threatened their two Britons. They would not let them out of the yard of the Tunari establishment except accompanied by their trusted employees, among which the former policewoman from Section 7 in Bucharest.

Andrew Tate’s position is also reinforced by the transcript of a dialogue initiated by Luana Alexandra Radu, the former police station from Section 7 in Bucharest, also arrested for human trafficking:
“Radu Luana: Money yesterday, $3

Radu Luana: That at the end of the month Andrew will argue Andrew Tate, Tristan Tate with me and I on you.”
As for the prosecutors' allegations of some girls being sequestered, there is a transcript of a discussion between Andrew Tate and one of the young women put to do videochat, who wanted to leave the building in Tunari where the studio was operating:
“Andrew Tate: You’re not going anywhere without one of the three.
Young: Why are you so cold with me?
Andrew Tate: Don't go out alone without telling me.
Andrew Tate: Mall, supermarket, nowhere else.
Young: I told you I wanted to go alone
Andrew Tate: It's the last warning!"
Andrew and Tristan Tate have been in custody since December 29 after searches by DIICOT prosecutors at their villa in Pipera and at the webcam studio. Georgiana Naghel and Luana Alexandra Radu were arrested with them.
The charges are the constitution of an organized criminal group, human trafficking and rape, and the prosecutors have brought enough reasons in court for the judges of the Bucharest Tribunal to decide the arrest of the Tate brothers and the two Romanian women for 30 days.
Andrew and Tristan Tate, as well as the two Romanian women are now awaiting the decision of the Bucharest Court of Appeal, where their lawyer challenged the pre-trial detention.
